Nets Channeling Some Big Blue Magic

For a few moments, I forgot that the Super Bowl was being held in Indiana this week.  Maybe thats why there seems to be a few extra fans watching the Pacers taking on a not so attractive Nets team.
With visions of the Super Bowl in fans heads, the Nets are channeling their inner Giant tonight to try and take down a tough Pacer team.
Now this game has nowhere near the implications and ramifications of  Big Blue's upset over the Patriots a few years ago, but with the Nets you never know where their inspiration will come from.

Brandon Jacobs being in the stands may have finally helped the Nets find the offensive consistency they have been lacking.

Nets Look For Redemption Against Pacers

The last time the New Jersey Nets met the Indiana Pacers, let's just say it wasn't anything pretty.

The Nets were without power forward Kris Humphries and still-injured center Brook Lopez.

Indiana took advantage of the short-handed Nets and knocked down 13 triples en route to a 108-94 victory at the Prudential Center in Newark.

Tonight, the Nets look to rebound from a blowout loss to Toronto on Sunday night at home.

The Nets were able to cut he lead to five on Jordan Farmar's jump shot with five seconds left in the first half.
However, that would be the closest the Nets would get.

Williams and Morrow Getting It Done

Deron Williams has been read hot as of late coming off of four straight games with a double-double.  Williams has played a large role during the Nets current winning streak averaging 30.5 points and 10.5 assists.
Williams assists numbers going up means his running mates have been knocking down shots.
After starting out slow this season, Anthony Morrow has finally found his game.  In the past four games, Morrow is averaging 18 points while shooting 50 percent from the field.
Tonight hasn't been much different as Morrow and Williams have combined for 23 of the Nets 39 first half points.
